Apple introduced new pricing and upgrades to their iMac line as well as minor updates to MacBook and MacBook Pros.

The new iMacs [apple.com] have reduced pricing and NVIDIA graphics and they now come with 4GB of RAM standard on all 24" iMacs.

There's also a new Mac mini [apple.com], and a new Mac Pro [apple.com]

The new MacBook Pro [apple.com] claims to have a up to 8 hours of battery life and a high-resolution LED-backlit display with a 60 percent greater color gamut.

The new MacBook [apple.com] was announced as well.

Anyone bought new iMac? Impressions?

I'm planning to get one (finally). I'll probably get all biggest except 8 GB RAM. That additional 4 GB "feels" expensive.

Thanks

smallcompany,

I have the previous generation iMac running 2GB of RAM and can have Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Safari, FireFox, Acrobat, Mail, Fetch, iCal, iTunes and two or three other apps open at the same time with no degradation in performance.
