Have blogged for a while, but am just learning the value of RSS etc. Am a newbie to RSS and am trying to learn how to incorporate.

Have been doing a lot of research and one item is a bit confusing for me:

Everything I've found seems to indicate the feed information either replaces your whole page or opens in a different window.

I have seen sites that show the feed information inside a pane or table within the browser window almost like an ad or photo/table etc. Where can I get info to explain to me how this is done?
