I'd like to be able to convert Mov files into Flash files.
Are there any freeware options out there? I've not been able to find anything online thus far and am reluctant to pay for anything as my need for this facility is very small. Any recommendations?

Video2SWF isn't free, but it is only $45.00 and works well.

Hmm, that'll work out at about $4.5 per second.
What I want to do is embed a 10 sec Mov file into a static html page. Above it, text and jpgs - below it, text and jpgs.
Using a Flash player is my preferred choice (hence the enquiry), but are there other options?

Upload it to a video sharing service and capture the result ? Be nice to somebody who has a Flash license and borrow a few CPU cycles ?
I think visualhub (from the makers of iSquint) did this too, but the developer folded his cards.
The demo version of it does 2 minutes without a license (and obtaining that license might be pretty hard for now)

iSquint was one of the ones I found - it looked perfect for my needs, which, subsequently, is a shame.
Be nice to somebody...
Unfortunately, I think that's a problem! Lol!
Upload it to a video sharing service and capture the result?
Ha - that could be the solution. Thanks!

Thanks for the link to the demo version of Visualhub, swa66. That worked perfectly.
