evening all...

I have a Lacie portable hard drive with a bunch of MacOSX files on it from our previous designer.

Yes, when i plug it into my WinXP laptop, it doesn't even come up in My Computer....

What do i have to do to make these files accessible?

I have an accessible MAC OSx computer if i need to go that route, but no nothing about mac, except how pretty they are....

any tips please?

It is likely that the drive is formatted for the Mac file system.

Easiest option: plug it into the Mac and network the computers.

Other option: install software such as MacDrive on the XP machine.

Samizdata is correct. The drive is formatted for OSX, networking them should solve the problem.

Other other options: plug the drive into the Mac and burn the files to CD/DVD, or transfer them to another external drive that works on the XP machine, or upload them to your webspace, or email them to yourself...
