Weblog showing 10% visitors using Macs

How about that?

My web stats are showing 10% of the site's U.S. visitors over the past month are using Macs. Worldwide, just under 10%. (This site gets most of its traffic from hit-and-run surfers using Google.)

10% and, seemingly, climbing.

How do you like them apples?

I believe it. The WSJ ran a column last week from a guy who was buying a new personal computer. Just a normal person with normal computer needs, but he liked to play games...

There was forum attached to the column. Lots of recommendations from lots of people. Bottom line: Get a Mac.

Despite all of the funny news about the iPhone and iPod, there appears to be some kind of major shift among consumers about Macs. And then Apple rolls out its new computers last week with lower prices.

But, maybe I'm the last to figure this out. A year ago Apple stock was selling at about $80. Today it closed at $140.
