Hello everyone,

I've very recently (like 2 days ago) made the switch from PC to Mac. I use Dreamweaver 8 on the Mac, as I did on the PC.

I'm used to connecting to the remote server by using the "plug" icon in the Files panels. I then switch to the "local and remote view" (I'll write "L&R" for the rest of the message) using the icon at the other end of the line. I then transfer my stuff by drag'n'drop from local to remote.

It seems that when I switch to "local and remote view", it looses the connection, because I have to click the "plug" icon again to view my remote folders. If I switch back to local view and back again to L&R, I have to connect again.

I may not have the most efficient way of working with the software, but I'll sometime switch back and forth 4 or 5 times. Having to reconnect every time is annoying. Anyone have an idea? I don't know if this is due to the Mac, but I've used Dreamweaver on a few PCs and never had this problem.

Thank you all!
