When I open a new tab, and a java applet runs, if I switch to another tab and back to the one that had the java applet running, the page stops.

And example is opening a tab and going to <removed>

When I select a chat room and log in, iam able to access the chat. However, when I switch to another tab and back to the one with the chat room, it has logged me out back to the main page.

I have enabled java in safari's preferences and have no other issues with java. I also have the latest software update.. just got a brand new macbook pro so it has everything current.

any help will be greatly appreciated.
