What do you do if you run several websites that cover different types of services in Google Local? Do you only get on Google local listing for your address or can you create one per website?

Lets say your a Dr. and a Lawyer and you have a website for each one. Can you have two local listing for each and rank for City Dr and City Lawyer in the 10 pack or 7 pack or whatever it is called now.

I haven't found a limit in practice. A doctor and lawyer can share a professional centre's address. You do need an address.

IMO the telephone numbers should differ even if the same address is used for multiple listing.

Ankit is correct. Some people are abusing the system by using different extension numbers off their PBX, but this scenario also applies to legit business centres such as serviced offices.

If the several services are closely related, I think it would be better to have a single listing, and display customized keywords for each service on its own individual webpage off the site. So doing "tax accounting" and "small business accounting" would be too similar to really do separate sites.

Whereas, a Lawyer and a Doctor should have distinct sites.

I agree with Ankit and Anallawalla - helps to have individual phone numbers.

Also, it'd be good to get a DBA license in that state for each business.
