Hi Everyone;
I am looking for a good point of sale system for linux (or that will run under Wine) that will work WITHOUT Internet access.
We have three brick-and-mortar stores. Two DON'T have internet access. So web-based solutions won't work. Also, they must not require a license check via internet each time they are run.
Also, I will have to be able to export inventory from one main store which can then be imported into the other stores via a spreadsheet (not Excel). (I don't need to export / import sales data and inventory data, I just need to export the item# name, price, etc.,)
Lemon POS is out because they don't support import / export by spreadsheet.
PHP POS Looks good and is only $99. Does anybody have any thoughts about it?
[EDIT: Looks like PHP POS is based on Open source Point of Sale - which I am guessing is free]
Thanks in advance.
