I want to automatically convert a few short files a week to small mp3 files to be downloaded. I'm on a shared CentOS server, so I don't have root access to build stuff, but if it came to it, I could get a tiny vps or something just for this.

I found a third party service that will do this, but they want $1,200 a year for an hour a month of speech. Yeah.

So any suggestions would be appreciated.
