Booting Unix and Windows XP on The Same Disk

have problems with booting unix and windows xp on same harddisk

I have 3 harddisk.... One is with unix, one with windows xp and one is free....
Harddisk with unix have 40 gb.... Harddisk with windows xp have 40 gb
Free harddisk have 80 gb...
I have made a clone for my unix in harddisk 80gb and works good but now i want to add windows xp on free space in harddisk 80gb... And i want to boot from unix to windows xp and reverse...
Can anyone help me?

The few times I've set up a dual boot, I installed windows first, then linux/unix. It's the unix install that sets up the dual boot and allows you to partition the drives properly. I'm sure you can do it the other way, but bet it's a lot harder.

So, install windows first, make sure your unix install has the ability to set up dual boot, then install the unix second.

That's the easiest way. If Unix is already installed, you should still be able to do it, but maybe not easily. In that case, install Windows, then boot a Unix rescue CD. From there, you'll need to edit the bootloader configuration to point to the Windows partition.
