Screw the Rules - I Want to Buy Some Links

Here's the deal, I am in a VERY competitive niche and our competitors have publicist doing press releases weekly and almost every major writer on the authority websites in their pocket.

We write good unique content and build a lot of natural backlinks through regular channels. However, it will take me months to beat my competitors for the keywords that they aren't even chasing!

I need ab equalizer, at least until I can afford to compete with them on their level.

So, although I know that it's wrong; can someone help me with these questions:

- Where to buy links
- How to buy links
- How much should I pay for links
- How to not get Google Slapped for buying links
- The different types of links to buy i.e. blog rolls, contextual ...

Any ideas?

Have you read through the Link Development forum? Your questions have been answered/debated here many times.

totally off topic, but before you take the paid links plunge...

Is there any way you can do something so cool / controversial / stupid that you won't need a PR staff, since people will be falling over themselves to write about you?

That would be the first thing to try.

Planet13, we are a financial niche, so cool is difficult, controversial, I guess, but no ideas come to mind .... but stupid, I accomplish this regularly ... just nobody writes about it ...

Approach blogs that are NOT in some stupid blog network and ask what it would cost....and ask to pay for content with the links in it, or offer to develop content they'd want and then pay them some.

You should be doing link bait and infographics as well in that niche!

Guest posts, and a wide range of non-affiliated websites such as linkbuildr suggested.

Stay away from patterns.
