WYSIWYG HTML 5 editor?

I use site templates to build sites and I have been working mostly with Dreamweaver, FrontPage etc.

What I need is WYSIWYG editor for HTML5. In Dreamweaver CS6 and CC templates aren't looking good in WYSIWYG editor mode.

So far I have tried many editors but haven't found the one who handles HTML5 good. The best was Blue Griffon, but he is very limited to work with.

Any other editors?

I forgot to mention CSS3. WYSIWYG editor for HTML5 and CSS3?

Not sure of the state of the art WYSIWYG's nowadays, I see a lot of client side developers simply using the browser and some scripting to reflect any changes you've made that need to be displayed. That option really depends on whether you're comfortable hand coding the HTML.

BlueGriffin for WYSIWYG, CoffeeCup for text; both has issues.

Most times I find using the targeted BROWSER to view the code result is better than any of the editors, as the editors are not always up to date for WYSIWYG. YMMV.

Meanwhile, I'm coding HTML5 pages in Homesite 4.0 which is ancient, and my "browse page" function drops to FF whatever current ver I'm using for testing, else it the editor is hard coded for IE 5.5 (and most of the time that actually works!)

Ultimately, editor or not, the hand code will make the diff, so just about any editor will do, Notepad, ++, etc.

Regardless, I always check with the browser just to make sure the editor did not insert something unintended. After all, it is what appears there that is important, not what it looks like while editing!
