DW Uploading Files

....don't have to upload the images again

Hopefully someone can assist. Upon uploading htm pages DW wants to upload/put images all over again, while they're already on the server. No major problem but it's annoying.

Is there a gizmo somewhere to prevent? Setting? If so does it have a common name or...something quirky? The terminology with adobe is sometimes confusing.

Top Menu - go to EDIT > PREFERENCES > SITE.

The options for Get/Put can be changed in there.

Not much of a selection there. I guess clicking the prompt on put means it not re-upload the images unless I say okay. So if I add one image for example (shorter time) I have to go in and put the individual image as well. This way it won't overwrite the existing ones?

Seems like a lot of unnecessary work, but thanks.

Overwriting the existing ones should not be a problem as you will be doing so with the same image.
