DW CS3 inserting flash file.

ok, this is driving me crazy now... i have already publised a .swf into a sub directory of my site....

/Directory/test.swf

it plays a .flv video and works just fine.

when i click on the flash object in DW, i can see in the source(src) field that it says: test.fla

calling it relative from the /Directory/index.asp page.

i took the exact same steps to develop one for another directory, but in the src field in this one, it says:

/Directory2/test2.fla

and i cant change it... thus its not calling the video from the right src..

anyone?

Is the source file in the second one actually an .fla or is it a .swf too?

I have had nutty issues with DW as well and have ended up copying and pasting in the one that works that hand changing the values.

Well, i figured it out...

i just created and published the files to my desktop.

copied them over to the local file.

the swf then did not have a value in the SRC field, so i dragged the "target" icon over to the .fla file, which....
oddly enough still added the directory it was in:

/directory/test.fla

but it worked?!?!

weird...
