He made the site look great in Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari. The problem is that it doesn't show well in Frontpage 2003 and Dreamweaver CS4. It looks great online but in WYSIWYG editor the design is so scrambled it is tough to work on the content.
Is there a fix for this problem? Do others just deal with it?
When working with an older WYSIWYG you're going to want to have a real copy of a browser open to double-check the design. However, for working with content you just need to understand the limitations. In most cases you can easily work on the content, save your work and double-check the outcome in the browser.
A lot of my sites made with FP separate content from design (CSS) and allow me to maintain them fairly easily. I can comment out the CSS and work with the plain site if necessary.
