Make a separate blog for each group. Then give them rights to edit the pages for the individual section. Each blog can be set to publish to its own folder/subdomain. The styles can all be linked together so that you have a unified look, or each section can use its own individual style.

MT is well known for its blog software, but it works fine as a CMS. It's dead simple for end users to enter content with its WYSIWYG input editor.

If you opt for the paid version you get online and phone support options.

Thanks Bill but it all looks a bit complicated. I already have the site design approved by the client so I would have to make this work in MT and learn how to use it myself. I was looking a quicker, simpler solution if possible. I have one solution (Toko) already working but I have concerns about security. I'll start another thread about this.

MT is easy to install and will work with any templates/design you might have.

Almost any blog or portal package could probably do the same. If MT isn't your choice then take a look at the opensourceCMS site and try out a few.
