Been using DW CS2 for a few years, then all of a sudden I get the following message when I try to launch DW.

The following panel layout is missing or could not be read ../configuration/workspace/designer.xml.

Once I click OK, I am prompted with a blank error box which I close and the DW stops loading.

I have tried a system restore to a period when the software was working OK, and tried reinstalling DW, always with the same result. DW will not reinstall because some sort of missing "patch." I did uninstall the original program, reboot and tried to install. I am thinking it has something to do with the Configuration folder. Saw numerous posts about renaming the Configuration folder which I did. When DW loads, it will install a new folder, but then refuses to go any further.

I should not that I have 3 versions of DW on the same machine. None of which will start nor can be reinstalled.
