Add Search Feature to Site

e-rube needs advice for Front Page Search

I have a (Front Page) e-comm site that desperately needs a search engine. The search feature included with Front Page dredges up old pages that are no longer available - so I thought. Clearly I'm in over my head and would greatly appreciate any direction. I'm considering the paid version of FreeFind and would like to know what others with a Front Page site use. I would like a search engine that only searches my site, not the entire web.

Many thanks for any help.

FP's search engine does not update deleted information automatically, Under TOOLS, click RECALCULATE HYPERLINKS. This will update all search terms and text indexes. If you are looking for a stand alone search engine, there are several available, free and paid, as will as putting G search on your site.
