My web host went down recently and I had to change to a new host/new servers
Prior to this change my sites published perfectly using FP2003 Publisher
Now the site starts to publish but stops after uploading only a few files and I get an error message similar to this:
Server error: Cannot close file *.380_a.jpg.tmp*.
I (and my host) have checked and reinstalled FP Extensions - all ok.
I have not made any changes (other than the web host) was, and still am, XP, IE6 and Linux
Anybody have any suggestion where problem might lie.

Like most MS apps, as the install routine does not write over any existing files, a damaged file won't be replaced. So try first uninstalling, the reinstalling the extensions.
Also check to see if your new hosting company has a number of files limit. While some might have you 500M, they might limit you to 5,000 files. This might be the case.
Also in FP, go to Tools - Recalculate Web. Only remove FPSE and add them again as a last resort especially if you relying on FPSE to handle a few other things
