FP2000 is a bit questionable. It works, but FP2003 is much better. The entire FrontPage line has now been replaced by Expression Web. Dreamweaver is a fine tool as well. Any of these WYSIWYG tools should work for you.

Absolutely right. What one person likes, another doesn`t. I went through a whole load of text editors before I settled on the one I like best. HTML Kit is a popular free HTML editor if you don`t want to go down the cash route. There are others out there, so try a search.

There are still a couple of hard core FP 2000 users out there but if you are going to build a site that you want compliant, consider taking a few weeks and learning HTML. And then consider Expression Web. I have been using that for about six months now I would say and I cannot consider going back (even though I have used a version of Frontpage since about 1996 or so).

I would take a little time to learn some HTML. I realize you would prefer not to but you'd have a lot more options if you did.

What is your motivation for wanting to build pages? It sounds like you're looking to build a web-presence for your business. If so, learning HTML is not an option - it's the absolute minimum requirement for building anything remotely professional.

If this is a one-time shot go ahead and hire someone to create your pages. That way you don't have to learn anything and the result will be superior.

Many people find that the process of learning HTML can be sped up by using a WYSIWYG tool.
