Dreamweaver 8 Problem

I recently upgraded to Dreamweaver 8 from Dreamweaver mx 2002. My problem is when I start typing text it automatically bolds the font and I'm not sure how fix the problem?

I have looked at my preferences to see if there was something I could do there to fix the problem, but no luck.

Can you help? Please!

Are you typing text into a table cell?

And is that cell designated as a th (table header)?

Table headers are bold by default. I believe DW8 makes the first row of a table a th by default.
