As I understand it, if you have a legal copy you can install it on your laptop. Contact Adobe about this.

I very much doubt just copying the files will work, there will be numerous regestry entries and registered files to go along with it.

You will still require proof of purchase, or if you registered the copy, Adobe will be able to help, then you can simply download it again and they will send you a new serial number.. to run it..

not if they changed the build number since you got your number ..if they did your number wont work ..

they change "builds" frequently as do all software companies ..usually to defeat "lamer" crack / serial sites from hitting their bottom line too hard ..

so either you can try and hope they didnt ..

or you can buy it again ..

or you can try to diss it and take forever and get an ROI on your time of about .05cts an hour ..

or you could reply to one of those emails ..and have some anonymous site owner in some shady juristiction promise to sell you an OEM version ..and then find your credit card cleaned out ..and no way to go to the police and say about how you tried to get OEM softs off the net ..

plus as a pro you may be controlled for "unlicensed software" at any moment ..knock on the door ..

buy another if your serial is obselete ..in fact buy the "studio" ..it's an investment that you can write off against tax now you are working for yourself ..it's an acceptable "expense" ..and it keeps coders in food ..

Look if you have a legitimate copy then contact the company..

it's called customer service and they do want to be seen to be nice at the very least..
