Expression Photo Montage

What happened?

I moved from Front Page to Expression and cannot find a simple "Add Web Component" whereby I can insert a photo montage - this was my sole reason for using FP?

Any answers where it's hidden or how I can add a simple photo montage?

I don't think Expression has web components.

Thats terrible!

The instant photo gallery was the best thing about frontpage.

There they go again shooting themeselves in the foot...

Good riddance. Most of those FP web components were not standards compliant and often only functioned properly on IE. I'd much rather see MS tools move toward less proprietary code generation. That's always been the biggest complaint against them.

Neither are Flash, QuickTime, and Acrobat, but that doesn't keep them from being used.

(Mind you, I'm not a big fan of FrontPage photo galleries myself; I prefer HTML "flat files.")

At least Flash, QuickTime, and Acrobat can be used on most modern browsers... ;) The IE-only proprietary stuff was what got on a lot of people's nerves (mine). I don't recall whether the photo album met that criteria, but some of the web components certainly did. They won't be missed.
