I have a few folders that I don't want to upload when I update my site.
Is there a way to flag certain folders in my site (on my machine only) that never upload on the server when I click on Put (files) arrow or do a Site / Synchronise?
Thank you

Yes. In the Files window, right-click on the folder and choose Cloaking -> Cloak.

This is one of those important gems that many users do not know about. It's a big time saver and helps keep you from forgeting to upload certain files or folders. Should be a WebmasterWorld library item.

Just a quick PS... You can't cloak individual files by right-clicking them, but you can cloak files with a certain type of filename - I do that to my htaccess and htpasswd files
Cloaked files won't be uploaded if you synchronise the folder containing them, but they *will* be uploaded if you select the file itself and synchronise it. DerekH
