I've searched through the recent posts but nothing to help me with my problem - can you help?
I have hand-coded html pages which view fine through IE and Firefox. However, when I go to edit them in Dreamweaver, some pages I can only see code view and others I get a completely blank page.
Could it be something to do with CSS? I'd really appreciate some input,

Um - it's never easy to fix a problem like "Dreamweaver doesn't work", but Dreamweaver should indeed display your files, no matter how they were coded, PROVIDED that they are valid. Dreamweaver can't always display the more sophisticated niceties the HTML and CSS together allow, but it usually has a darned good go.
If you Google W3C, you can get a bot to check your pages for HTML errors (and you may be surprised how many errors slip through!).
If you correct those (I feel sure you'll find some), then you may find the problem goes away.
Try that and post again if it doesn't help!

Well, yes, you need to make sure that your local copy of the HTML file has access to local copies of all the CSS files it needs, in the right places...
