My html starts after 30 lines of space

When I view the source code for my cfm pages in my browser there is about 30 lines of space then my code begins.

Does this affect anything? And more importantly how to remove the space?

A lot of templating systems and CMS will leave blank lines where conditional code might go. It is not cause for concern at all.
