I just ran a Page Speed report and it complained about this:

Compressing [translate.googleapis.com...] could save 591B (42% reduction).

591B isn't huge but c'mon, Google, it is stupid and unfair to downgrade our Page Speed score when it's YOUR image that's the problem! Get your act together and optimize your own creatives!

File this under GRRRRR.
