I want to create a map of a country with provinces links, some mouse overs would also be nice.
What would be the best solution for this in 2017, has to be responsive also...so the coordinates would need to be responsive also as well right?

Haven't used this in (site/image maps irregular borders) in many years. I'd also be interested in any new thoughts. Meanwhile, might check out some of the political sites out there and slurp their code (think USA states/election/parties) and see what they are doing.
