(or whatever; I'm not an eye doctor!).
Your "enthusiasm" is misplaced :)
causing you to squint.
"squint" does not mean what you think it means..
thus..again..
Your "enthusiasm" is misplaced :)
I'm not an eye doctor!
Neither am I..But..amongst others..I also have a degree in what could be loosely described as "optics, sight and perception"..and a few others which touch more than tangentially on the wider fields of sight and visual perception..in humans and other species..
"squint" has a very definite meaning..
Best advice for anyone using computers and or other electronic screen devices..? don't..
Doing so is bad for your eyes..
Insufficient variety ( changes ) in the distance at which you are focusing during any given period ( every 5 minutes for example ) does not exercise the tiny muscles in your eyes sufficiently..your eyes did not evolve to spend so much time per 5 minute period ( or per hour / 24 hour period ) focused upon a flat surface at 30 cms to 70 cms in front of them..
Get up..Go outside..walk about for at least 5 minutes..looking at the world around you ( both near and far ) not at your phone or tablet ..do this very 30 minutes or so ..certainly every hour..
Or your vision will suffer and degrade..
If you do not do so ..
By the time you are aware of the truth of this advice..it will be too late .. your vision will already be affected.."gimmicks" not withstanding..
