import an image into my fireworks image

Hi,
I'm working on a .png image in fireworks, and I want to import a small 15x15 icon into my existing image.

how can I do this? whenever I open another image it opens in its separate tab.

Drag and Drop? You may have to use a different view mode so each file is displayed in a new window...
