I urgently need some advice...

I uploaded a plugin today for my wordpress site... could not get it to work so removed it... removed the images that came with it... I now still see the images which have repeated themselves along the top of my page and cannot get rid of them... I had to set the permissions for them and am wondering is this is something to do with it..

the images are now not on my server yet still show [ repeated along the top]?

I must fix this as it looks terrible.. please can anyone advise..
