Really, it can't be done here (specifics) but go searching around at Google and Yahoo directory for CSS "showcase" type sites and high end (expensive) web design firms' portfolios. Also, search Yahoo directory (and search) for sites in the niches that would be using such designs.

It isn't a matter of copying, it's a matter of inspiration and absorption. I'm just plain vanilla, but I do know that what you look at a lot starts to internalize and stimulate creativity.
