What are the pros and contras of encoding text with UTF-8 on Unicode/ISO 10646 compared to ISO Latin One (ISO 8859).
I'm not able find a decent answer, I hope one of you can.

Is this this an assignment from that crazy professor? I saw a deluge of questions like this last year around this time on various forums but they were mostly video related.
