We have a static html site that has been updated over the years and really looks old and crappy but there is a lot of good info there. As a quick fix, I want to change the color of some cells and backgrounds from green to blue without going to each 100+ pages to change the color in the coding. Is there a way to make the site think the color green (0C7E0F) is blue? Maybe in .htaccess like mod-rewrite?

Get a good text editor that can run a "Find & Replace" across multiple files. On the Mac, BBEdit is a good choice as is TextWrangler, it's free counterpart.

Dreamweaver will also do this, but it's always worth doing a backup first...

It will be worth 1000 attempts to apply a stylesheet (external or internal) to your pages with you need to re-touch.
This is defenately going to work.....
Get in touch if you really need to make those changes without wasting time...
I'll create a stylesheet and will sent it across with instruction on how to attach it...
