At work IE 6.0 displays the header graphic with a darker green, different from the 33CC00 that is on the rest of the site.
The same thing happened on the Mac's I tested the site on at the Apple store.
What gives? Why wouldn't the jpeg display the same color across systems?

This could be your colour space - are you using CMYK in Photoshop? If so you need to switch to RGB
@Marshall - I didn't get what you were saying at first, but I do now. Instead of specifying a color using CSS or html, use a background image generated in the same program as the header image. I have adsense on this site and I am afraid that if I did it this way, then it would be the part that wouldn't match the rest of the site.
Also, I have some .gifs that I am displaying on the site(with 33CC00 backgrounds) that were made in the same program. They display fine across all systems and browsers. It must be the browser support for jpegs is different. I thought using a websafe color would keep me from having this problem.
If I can't some up with another solution I'll try and see if that background image fix matches the gif/adsense colors.
