currently we have a channel that is available in europe and middle east.

Now our mgmt wants to hv it webcast through one of our sites. the Satellite company have provided a ip address where we can view the content. but the format is in mpeg.

Is it possible to stream the feed from the ip through a website in wmv or ram format

Take a look at Microsoft's Windows Media Encoder [microsoft.com]. You can encode streaming media on the fly with this.

but it doesnt provide u with an option to re stream the feed

I haven't tried simultaneous encoding and re-streaming but you can certainly do it in stages (encode in one process and stream in another).

You may want to look at adding Windows Media Services to your Windows 2003 server. They have a number of streaming capabilities built in.
