Does anyone know how to change the UI in Blender to resemble the UI in 3D Max? I liked working with the 3D Max UI but I no longer have the trial verson. By the way, Blender looks to be just as powerful! Thanks.

Hi Newbie. I haven't used Blender but a quick search for "changing UI in Blender" turned up some quality links. I can see from a Little digging that Blender is opensource so there is a large community developing the software - within these circles there are dedicated individuals ironing out the UI. Have a go and come back if you can't find what you are looking for and I'll pass over what I found. Cheers, Liam.

I am not shure it is possible to change Blender interface similar to 3dMax. As far as I know, Blender gives completely another way of objects manipulating and have specific user interface. The main idea is "artist should use hotkeys as much as possible." Try Blender Hotkey Reference [PDF, 263K] [download.blender.org...]
