Hey guys:

We are looking to upgrade our pic editing software from an old MS product but the options are varied.

Can anyone recommend the Photoshop package to buy?

Thank you in advance!

You might get some replies to your question if you provide a little more information. In this case it would help to know how much pic editing power you need. Do you run a digital photo studio that offers digital restoration of old or damaged photographs? Do you just want to take the red-eye out of some pics taken at the last office party? Do you need to create graphics or output images for the web? For print?

Thank you... I had not thought of these options.

I edit clothing pics to bring the colors in line, remove the beige or pale blue background that appears on photos taken on a white background and publish to our site.

I would like to also do some simple logos, banner texts and thumbnails with text.

And lastly I would like to be able to add those nice gentle shadows to pics (the ones that make the pics on a web page seem somewhat elevated from the page... so they dont seem so flat.

I hope this helps...

Thanks again.

You can download a trial of any Adobe product that works for 30 days.
Try Image ready or PS CS2
