Want to add Camtasia video screen recordings (they output .swf and other flavors), with their audio, to HTML pages or PDFs for use on local machines via downloading a ZIP file or on CD/DVD.

Basically, this is to improve on one of my training e-books by adding voice narrated videos to existing text and still image content. Also interested in adding in some interactive quizes.

Ideally, i'd like to put the videos into one or more PDF files, but don't think that's possible. Failing that, is there a way to link into and out of PDF files, such that the user could click a button in the PDF to leave the PDF file and run a video, then be taken back into the PDF automatically?

Failing that, could i use HTML pages to link into PDFs and to start videos - using HTML pages as the controllers for the whole training experience?

I don't yet know Flash. Is the latest version (very expensive for me) of Flash able to meet the above tasks and do all that by itself? Or is there another standard way of doing SWF + voice audio + HTML? It needs to work on Windows or Mac PCs, probably using the local browser.
