According to Google, it's releasing an instant visual translation for mobile. This means you can take a picture of a word, or sign, and you'll get an instant translation. It's only between English or German to Arabic right now, but it's an interesting development. For those of you with bricks and mortar stores, it's worth reviewing your signs to see how it works, and whether you can optimise it for your visitors.

Additionally, with an iPad, in split view, Google translate will work instantly on the split screen mode.
