Is anyone else finding Google StreetView completely unusable

Several minutes to load in a page

For months, possibly even as long as a year, I have not been able to use StreetView. It takes several minutes to load in a page and trying to move about if it defaults to looking at the wrong direction can take so long, I've have given up most times.

Is it just me?

No, not just you. Since Google changed the UI it's much harder to find the icons. Additionally, it does seem slightly slower than it used to be, but not several minutes for me.

I'm using FF. Which browser are you using?

I'm using Firefox, the Linux version.

I agree about the icons, I can't work out what any of them do!

In fact, I bookmarked a car garage the other day that has integrated the old Google Maps and StreetView on their site which works fine. Only problem, it is only about 2 inches square so a little small! So it shows that the old version works fine still.
