"Google Trends" was a useful tool. Now it, (and Google Insights), appear to be more of a push into "social" -- just what we need -- another place to find out that Miley Cirus' haircut is trending.

If anyone knows how to get the tool to report as it did please let me know -- e.g.; see which term more people in New Zealand refer to a person practicing law: "lawyer, attorney, barrister, counselor".... or which is more searched for in Florida, USA: "concrete, cement", etc...

You can limit results to country, but I don't think that you can get down to state level. You can enter a number of different terms under search terms.

Talk about limits, I just tried the new trends link in the blog post.

After searching 1 term, and clicking on 2 "related" terms I got a "you have reached your limit" message.

What's with that?

Do you need to log in to use this?

Maybe, I am logged into my work gmail all the time so I never see that message.
