Google Guns for Facebook with Google+ Social NetworkGoogle is trying its hand again at social networking, introducing on Tuesday a service called Google+. Currently available only to a small group of testers, its aim is to enable sharing between small groups of people.

"By attaching a + immediately before a word (remember, don't add a space after the +), you are telling Google to match that word precisely as you typed it. Putting double quotes around a single word will do the same thing.

Now that Google is going into the Socal Networking business, does that leave an opening for a new purely search Search Engine?

Time will tell, but if I were offered the choice of this or Facebook, I'd take Facebook. But I'd take Twitter's simplicity and speed over both.

YouTube Launches Experimental Redesign Called Cosmic Panda
Just days ago Google launched a redesign of their search engine and it looks like YouTube is next on their list. Earlier today, YouTube announced “a new experimental experience for videos, playlists and channels.” It’s called Cosmic Panda and there’s no denying the fact that it fits perfectly into the whole Google+, Google redesigned branding experience.
