I just developed an iGoogle gadget. I was wondering if other people have experience and tips on how to promote it and how to get the most out of it. Currently, I just have my RSS feed in there.

Also, I submitted to the iGoogle directory just now. How does it work exactly? If I have more users (which it shows in the directory), does it make my gadget go up on the list?
