Here's a not so strange notion that I am sure others have already considered. What would it be like if google were at the core of your PC instead of Microsoft (Mac guys and Linux hippies turn your heads away now!)?

Would it be as fast and efficient as the google pages? The reason I'm wondering (apart from the consuption of way too much wine...) is that I was playing around on MSN Live earlier on today and found it extremely slow and clunky. Lacking in facilities and anything new or useful - I left quickly.

It just started me thinking - are they thinking that too?
