Google + for enterprise users has been re-branded to Google Currents and is added to the G Suite app with a new look and feel.

? Was "Currents" out there before? Or am I miss remembering some of g's magical stuff---which has gone by the wayside for lack of uptake/interest?

Anyone tried out the beta?

It sounds more like a Slack/Yammer type of service rather than an outward facing SNS.
