Google+ is deleting accounts that haven't been active in over 30 days. If you think your G+ accounts fall into this category, simply post or comment on someone's post to keep your account open.

Note: Google promises this won't affect your Google My Business listing - you can still be found on Google Search and Maps if your G+ page is removed.

I have 52.167 followers there right now.
I suspect 52.000 are inactive.

Let's see what happens.

I just got an email about that for an account I manage for a client. I wonder how many will suddenly start posting, or realize the account is actually a waste of time.

Didn't Google automatically created a G+ account when you were using any of their other services? If so, this is not surprising that they had tons of accounts, and that most of them are inactive.

I've been watching my followers drop all week.

Reminds me of a gig I once had at a hospice.

Lol

I have a test account that seems to have survived, so far. Followers unchanged.

My Follower are also unchanged. They remained constant since I started the account. Zero!
