Clicking link on mobile chrome browser opens the app. How to stop this

Hey so I use chrome browser for IOS or even Android, to visit a page with a link. When I click on the link, the app associate with that link's website opens.

Is there anyway to just browse the site with the chrome browser and not automatically open the app for that link's site? Please advise. Thanks!

Do you have an app called "Open Link in App" installed ?

I think it's a browser setting.
