Hi sometimes when I visit a website with my Chrome browser in mac, the browser says "Resolving host" and slows tthe page opening. Is this a common bug with Chrome? Thanks

Nothing to do with Chrome per se. Any browser must go through the steps to resolve the host name if there is some issue, usually just a network delay.
Your ISP is supposed to get the DNS info at set intervals. Possibly your browser hadn't been used since the last update.
